McGonagle joins Continental as aftermarket sales director

Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has announced the addition of James McGonagle as its Aftermarket Sales Director.
Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket, manufacturer and supplier of OE-engineered automotive replacement parts, has announced the addition of James McGonagle as its Aftermarket Sales Director. McGonagle will be responsible for national aftermarket sales of the company’s VDO and ATE programs to all distribution channels.

The announcement was made by David Mestdagh, Director North American Aftermarket Operations, who notes, “Mr. McGonagle has a very impressive list of accomplishments and brings nearly 25 years of sales and product management experience, as well as technical expertise to Continental. We look forward to his contribution and are delighted to have him on our team.”

Before joining Continental, McGonagle spent 10 years as Business Development Manager for ZF Services North America (Vernon Hills, Ill.), during which time he helped create new business opportunities and implemented programs in the retail, program group and WD channels. Prior to ZF Services, McGonagle served Brembo Racing (Mooresville, NC) as their NASCAR and Sportscar Technical Sales Director, working directly with race teams to develop and improve vehicle braking systems. He also served Sachs North America (Westlake, OH) as Manager of Product Development and Dorman Products (Colmar, PA) as Product Line Manager.

McGonagle holds BS Mechanical Engineering from Widener University. He will be based out of the Allentown headquarters and lives in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley.
