Centerforce presents Dual Friction clutch assembly

LOS ANGELES -- Centerforce® is using this week’s MPMC Media Conference in Los Angeles to highlight its new 12-inch Dual Friction® clutch assembly for 2004 to 2006 Cadillac CTS-V with the 5.7L LS6 or 6.0L LS2 engine.

This new clutch assembly requires a Centerforce Flywheel and replaces the stock clutch & flywheel assembly with higher holding capacity pressure plate and a flywheel that is more than 30 pounds lighter and designed for a direct bolt in replacement.

Representatives at MPMC explain that Centerforce strives to provide the best products on the market today on all performance levels by using patented processes and constantly testing different materials and designs to find the best combination. The Dual Friction pressure plates feature these patented processes and provide a performance clutch that maintain exceptional street characteristics, while offering outstanding holding-capacity and durability.

The Dual Friction disc has a carbon composite puc style (segmented) facing that is used on the pressure plate and flywheel side for positive engagement and increased holding-capacity. Officials believe it is the ultimate in holding power and performance without sacrificing pedal effort and driver control.
