Hankook Tire, the seventh-largest and one of the fastest growing tire companies in the world, has been recognized by the Blue Bird Corporation as a recipient of its 2013 Outstanding Supplier Award in the polymer category. The award highlights Hankook’s efforts as an original equipment tire supplier for Blue Bird’s line of school buses.

Hankook has been steadily expanding its portfolio of OE tire supply to premium automakers, light truck, and commercial truck manufacturers. The company currently offers 19 truck tire models providing coverage for all truck and bus tire service applications and are available at more than 900 servicing commercial tire dealer locations in the United States.

An original equipment partner with Blue Bird since 2012, Hankook provides its AH12 steer position and Z35A drive position bus tires as original equipment fitments for the companies world class school busses. Hankook received this award in its first year of being a supplier to Blue Bird Bus.
