More than 50 first responders from Evansville, Newburgh, Henderson, IN and surrounding cities fire departments gathered Saturday, February 9th for a demonstration of the latest techniques in emergency vehicle extrication.
On Tuesday, January 15, four deserving recipients from Palm Springs and their families experienced a life-changing event – the presentation of a car to provide them independence and the ability to work, take care of their families and serve their communities – thanks to the National Auto Body Council.
AkzoNobel, a global leader in automotive and specialty coatings, is handing over the keys for its Acoat Selected Benevolence Program to combine it with the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) Recycled Rides initiative. The latter has its roots in the AkzoNobel program.
In 2019, the National Auto Body Council will kick off its yearly fundraising efforts with a new format – a single-day showcase called “NABC Day” for the collision repair industry featuring the annual golf tournament, a NABC Recycled Rides presentation and the industry reception – all held on Tuesday, January 15, at Tahquitz Creek Golf Club in Palm Springs, CA.
The keys to a Dodge Journey were given to the Salvation Army during their annual Tree of Lights Kickoff last Thursday night in Omaha, NE, thanks to the local CARSTAR owners, State Farm, Baxter Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Keystone, among others, in conjunction with the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides program.
At the 2018 SEMA Show, the National Auto Body Council held its annual meeting and board elections. In addition to re-electing three board members whose terms were expiring, it also welcomed four new members to the National Auto Body Council Board.
