  • The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Minnesota announced scholarship awards totaling $14,000 to help automotive service and collision repair students pay for tuition and tools during the 2018-19 school year.

  • The most common labor rates in a collision repair facility are: body, structure, frame, mechanical and paint. The goal is to have a higher effective labor rate than your posted door rate.  
  • Paint material dollars can be measured by the price you pay on the jobber invoice – the expense – or the amount you use on a job – the cost. The problem with the expense is it’s difficult to realize the value. To see the value, you need to determine your cost per paint hour.
