In an effort to make tire purchases and related repairs more affordable for your customers, members of the Tire Industry Association (TIA) are eligible for a 90-day, no obligation trial of GE Money’s CarCareONE credit card service.

A major benefit of the card is that it allows customers to pay for their automotive purchases, including tires and tire service, over a 90-day period with no interest – something that is generally not available with most major bank credit cards, according to TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield, who says dealers currently accepting CarCareONE cards report that customers spend an average of 291 percent more than patrons using other cards such as VISA and MasterCard.

“There are over 200,000 CarCareONE cardholders in California; over 150,000 in Florida; and over 142,000 in Texas,” says Littlefield. “These are all potential customers that dealers, especially in these difficult times, can’t afford to miss. TIA members who are currently accepting CarCareONE have told us that it’s been well worth the investment; it’s a ‘win-win’ situation, because it provides dealers with a powerful weapon to increase sales, and it provides customers with a great way to afford needed automotive purchases.”

The members-only trial sign-up offer expires Nov. 30.

If, after the 90-day trial period, a dealer is unhappy with the CarCareONE program, all you have to do is return the equipment and cancel your participation, Littlefield says. All costs, except actual usage charges, will be waived.
