Motul USA will showcase an all-new synthetic engine oil, as well as its full automotive product line, at the 2016 SEMA Show.

Motul USA, the industry leader in synthetic lubricant technology, will showcase an all-new synthetic engine oil, as well as its full automotive product line, at the 2016 Specialty Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (SEMA) Show, November 1-4, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

At the Motul USA exhibit (Central Hall, booth #25155), a Brabus-tuned Mercedes will sit front and center. While the iconic Mercedes Benz SUV is sure to turn heads, there is more than meets the eyes to its presence in the exhibit. Utilizing Motul products in the engine and transmission, it showcases many of Motul’s products that not only meet, but exceed, stringent OEM guidelines, including Extra Fuel Economy Property (EFE).

Unveiled for the first time at the SEMA show is one of those products, the 8100 X-Clean EFE 5W30 synthetic engine oil. Engineered for the latest generation of vehicles, Motul 8100  X-Clean EFE is OEM approved for use in BMW (LL-04), Fiat (9.55535.S1/S3), General Motors (Dexos2) and Mercedes-Benz (229.52).

Motul 8100 X-Clean EFE provides extended drain intervals as managed by the vehicle on-board computer, cleaner pistons, excellent oil flow at start-up and low temperature, and it reduces the formation of sludge and varnish deposits. It is equally effective in normally aspirated, turbocharged, gasoline or diesel engines.

Its ester-based synthetic and Technosynthese® products provide superior engine and transmission protection, meaning service centers can recommend Motul with confidence.

Over the past 12 months, Motul has bolstered distribution channels while at the same time increasing staff size by 50% - all to better serve its shops and customers.

“From our relationship with OEMs, to the aftermarket, to race teams, Motul is heavily involved in all aspects of the automotive industry and that makes SEMA the ideal place to meet with our partners and demonstrate how Motul continues to innovate, invest, and better serve our customers,” said Guillaume Pailleret, CEO of Motul USA. “The 8100 X-Clean EFE is a great example of a product Motul has developed through our relationships with major OEMs, as shown by its approvals by BMW, Fiat, General Motors, and Mercedes-Benz.”
