AMS Automotive LLC announces several enhancements to its lineup of UltraQuiet Premium Disc Brake Pads.

AMS has now begun using NPH (Nitrile Polymer Hardware) Technology with its abutment clips. Starting with 301 or 304 stainless steel clips, a unique bonding process applies a nitrile polymer coating to the caliper bracket side of each abutment clip. This coating isolates vibration from the brake pad to the brake caliper, resulting in further noise reduction when compared to the OE hardware.

In addition, the number of UltraQuiet brake pad sets that include caliper hardware has been increased from 284 SKUs to over 330 SKUs. According to Gil Pulliam, AMS Brake Brand Manager, “We’re not only providing technicians with everything they need to perform a successful and complete brake job, but we’re also providing them the best components available in the aftermarket”.

AMS has also released 45 new parts in the UltraQuiet product group, rounding out coverage for the 2013 model year of vehicles in North America. Included are front axle applications for the 2013 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ (part number 701-1653), the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder (part number 701-1649), and the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe (part number 701-1687).
