APRA’s First 2013 Electrical Clinic Held in Memphis

APRA’s Senior Vice President, Jeanie Magathan, announced recently that the APRA will hold their first Electrical Clinic of 2013 in Memphis, Tenn., on March 22 and 23. 

APRA’s Senior Vice President, Jeanie Magathan, announced recently that the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) will hold their first Electrical Clinic of 2013 in Memphis, Tenn., on March 22 and 23.

Magathan stated, “We are excited to host our first Electrical Clinic in Memphis, Tenn. Our clinic will be held during MD Publications’ Showpower Expo. Both the Electrical Clinic and the Showpower Expo will be held at the Cook Convention Center in Memphis. Everyone who registers for our Electrical Clinic will automatically receive a complimentary badge to attend the Showpower Expo.”

On Friday, March 22nd plant tours are scheduled to Comp Cams in Memphis, the WAIglobal Warehouse in Southaven, MS and ACC Rebuilders also in Memphis. The Electrical Clinic program on March 23 will feature:
• Mohammad Samii of Sammy’s Auto Electric will cover An Update on Newer Vehicle Technologies Related to Electrical Rebuilding; Rebuilding Techniques for Some Newer, But Commonly Used Alternators and Starters; and finally, Pictorial Case-Studies

• Dennis Jacinto of Lester Catalog will give An Update on Lester Catalog and KwikFinder; and 

A Roundtable Discussion, moderated by Ronnie Charnes of ACC Rebuilders and Dan Smith of Arrowhead Electrical Products, and APRA’s Electrical Division Chairman. 

There will also be a Mini-Exposition for suppliers who wish to display their literature and small parts that will be open on March 23 prior to the start of the clinic, during Lunch and the coffee breaks. 

Magathan added, “As you can see, this Electrical Clinic will really give everyone more bang for their buck since it includes great plant tours, fantastic speakers and a complimentary badge for the Showpower Expo.”
