WORLDPAC has made a significant contribution to CAWA’s scholarship fund. At the recent annual dinner gala, Bob Cushing, WORLDPAC’s President & CEO, handed CAWA’s President & CEO, Rodney Pierini a $25,000 check for the Association’s scholarship program.

Pierini announced the gracious contribution to the attendees at their annual dinner gala, last month, to “kick-off” Industry Week in Las Vegas. He commented that CAWA and WORLDPAC have similar goals in providing scholarships to current and future aftermarket associates, as well as, automotive high school teachers. “Tonight, I was handed a check from an organization that believes as CAWA does, that is, to support students and automotive high school teachers as part of our responsibility and to give back to the industry we serve…supporting education has been a hallmark of CAWA and WORLDPAC,” said Pierini.

According to Cushing, WORLDPAC made the contribution as “a demonstration of our commitment towards the ongoing recruitment and training of tomorrow's automotive technicians. CAWA's scholarship fund is a perfect way for us to participate in addressing one of the industry's biggest challenges, the growing shortage of automotive technicians.”
