When versatility is what matters most, drivers of 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicons and Unlimited non-Rubicon models have four new suspension systems available from Rancho. The Rancho Jeep offering now includes 2-in. and 3.5-in. sport kits that are purposefully designed and built for on- and off-road performance.

2-in. system with RS5000X shocks (Part No. RS66122BR5)

The new Rancho sport suspension systems for the Jeep JL Unlimited Rubicon and Unlimited non-Rubicon will be on display in the brand’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show booth (#25133) this week.

Each new kit offers Jeep owners the choice of globally recognized Rancho RS5000X or RS9000XL shocks that now include an exclusive, innovative new shock technology. Dynamic Rebound Spring™ (DRS) technology – found on RS5000X and RS9000XL shocks specific to the Jeep JL – includes a unique internal system that has a precisely tuned metal spring and fortified interior construction to improve control, reduce vehicle body roll and prevent rod overextension.

Each new Rancho system includes a pair of front and rear corner-specific, heavy-duty progressive rate coil springs to ensure a level ride, even during towing or under heavy loads. These springs are tuned to enhance on-road comfort for occupants and offer superior off-road performance.

The suspension systems also include front and rear bump stop extensions, front sway bar adapter brackets, rear extended sway bar end links and emergency brake line relocation bracket to complete the system. All brackets are precision-engineered and manufactured from high-strength, low-alloy steel.

Available through parts retailers across North America, these 100-percent bolt-on systems are engineered for fast and easy installation. The kits include a 2-in. system with RS5000X shocks (Part No. RS66122BR5) for Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicons; a 2-in. system with RS9000XL shocks (Part No. RS66122BR9) for Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicons; a 3.5-in. system with Rancho RS5000 shocks (Part No. RS66124BR5) for Wrangler JL Unlimited non-Rubicons; and a 3.5-in. system with Rancho RS9000XL shocks (Part No. RS66124BR9) for Wrangler JL Unlimited non-Rubicons. Several Rancho Jeep Wrangler JL suspension systems recently earned the U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 126 – Electronic Stability Control Systems (FMVSS-126) protocol.

The latest Rancho suspension systems are designed to accommodate up to 35-inch tires for capable, all-around performance. Each system is compatible with OE tires and wheels and the Jeep Wrangler JL Electronic Stability Control System.

Each suspension kit, along with the included RS5000X or RS9000XL shock absorbers, is backed by Rancho’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. Rancho RS5000X and RS9000XL shocks also are covered by a 90-day, risk-free offer, which allows consumers to try certain dampers on any truck or SUV for 90 days. Consumers can return their shocks within 90 days for a full refund of the product’s purchase price. To learn more about these warranties and offers, visit www.GoRancho.com.
