Automotive service professionals and shop owners attending the upcoming NACE Automechanika Chicago trade show will have the chance to experience Tenneco’s broad range of product innovations – including emissions control, ride control and friction products – as well as take advantage of comprehensive emissions control training and hands-on ride control product demonstrations. The Tenneco booth (#2757) also will showcase the Monroe® Quick-Strut® Challenge where technicians can compete to win an exciting prize.
During the show, Tenneco will provide service professionals with free technical training opportunities focusing on diagnostic, repair and replacement opportunities in vehicle emissions control and OE ride control. Attendees also are welcome to stop by Tenneco’s booth to check out the “Tenneco Experience” interactive mobile display, a custom-designed, 53-foot trailer highlighting Tenneco’s latest OE and aftermarket technologies.
Tenneco’s training opportunity will include a highly technical course addressing advanced emissions diagnostic strategy, with an emphasis on root cause catalytic converter failure. Leading the course, which takes place at NACE Automechanika Chicago at McCormick Place – West Building, will be Greg Neuenfeldt, a Tenneco Master Trainer with 25-plus years of automotive industry experience. Products on display at the Tenneco exhibit will include OE technologies from its Monroe® Intelligent Suspension portfolio, including adaptive, semi-active and active suspension technologies designed to be tailored to specific customer requirements. This technology is featured in the BMW 3 Series Adaptive M Suspension option, which also includes Tenneco’s continuously variable semi-active (CVSAe) dampers. The booth also will display OE exhaust technologies featured in the Cadillac ATS, Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Fusion and other vehicles.
In addition, Tenneco will showcase premium aftermarket solutions from its iconic Monroe brand, including shock absorbers and struts engineered to restore the vehicle’s original ride comfort, stability and handling, along with Monroe Brakes® brake pads and shoes engineered for exceptional stopping performance, noise reduction, and long pad life.
