Tenneco extends Monroe coverage to nearly 3 million additional vehicles

Tenneco has announced the expansion of its Monroe Shocks and Struts product line with the introduction of 27 new part numbers, including 21 new premium Monroe Quick-Strut strut assemblies, three new Monroe OESpectrum shocks and struts and three new Gas-Magnum light truck shocks.

Tenneco has announced the expansion of its Monroe® Shocks and Struts product line with the introduction of 27 new part numbers, including 21 new premium Monroe® Quick-Strut® strut assemblies, three new Monroe OESpectrum® shocks and struts and three new Gas-Magnum® light truck shocks.

The latest expansion adds coverage for six domestic and 53 import applications, including popular late-model vehicles from Acura, Ford, Honda, Mazda and Suzuki. In all, the new part numbers – of which 15 provide exclusive aftermarket coverage for their respective applications – offer combined coverage for nearly 3 million vehicles operating in North America.

Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies – assembled in Tenneco’s Paragould, Ark., manufacturing facility – feature the precisely engineered components necessary to complete a high-quality strut replacement. These include a premium Monroe strut technology tuned and tested for OE-style ride and handling; vehicle-specific coil spring technology featuring U.S.-grade steel and corresponding OE-equivalent spring design; premium, OE-style upper strut mount and bearing plate; and other high-quality components.

Making up the bulk of the new offerings are 21 Monroe Quick-Strut premium replacement assemblies – including 13 exclusive offerings – covering 51 import applications. Popular late-model Monroe Quick-Strut assembly applications now covered by the line are 2002-2004 Acura RSX (Front); 2011 Hyundai Sonata (Front); 1999-2003 Lexus RX300 (Rear); 2006-2010 Mazda 5 (Front); 2012-2014 Mazda 5 (Front); 2007-2012 Mazda CX-7 (Front); 2000-2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse (Rear); 2008-2010 Mitsubishi Lancer (Rear); 2004-2006 Scion xA (Front); 2004-2006 Scion xB (Front); 2006-2013 Suzuki Grand Vitara (Front); and 2000-2005 Toyota Echo (Front).

Tenneco also introduced Monroe OESpectrum premium front struts for 2015-2016 Honda CR-V, 2016-2017 Ford Edge and 2016-2017 Lincoln MKX models; Gas-Magnum rear shock absorbers for 2014-2016 RAM 3500 and 3500HD models; and Gas-Magnum front shock absorbers for 2014-2017 RAM 3500 and 3500HD models.

Also introduced were several new Strut-Mate® mounting kits covering 2011-2015 Nissan Juke (Front Lower), 2008-2014 Nissan Rogue (Front Lower), 2013-2015 Toyota Avalon (Front and Rear Lower) and 2012-2015 Toyota Camry (Front and Rear Lower) applications.
