With all of the general repair coverage included in the new Snap-on Software Bundle 13.2, professional technicians will significantly increase their repair capabilities, reduce their diagnostic time and keep repairs in their shop.
“The latest upgrade is packed with new and enhanced coverage, plus all of the coverage from previous upgrades, so technicians can confidently conquer any general repair problem that comes into their service bay with efficiency and improved accuracy,” said Leian Wunderlich, marketing manager, Snap-on Diagnostics. “This allows them to fix more cars faster, which means more profit.”
General repair coverage highlights in Software Bundle 13.2 include, but are not limited to:
- Engine Misfire Detection for 2004 and newer Chryslers reduces the time it takes to find the misfire by pointing technicians to the problem cylinder in seconds.
- OEM-level tests for Chrysler Diesel Cylinder Performance and GM Diesel Power Balance identifies the problem cylinder in a minute or less.
- New bi-directional test for EVAP components makes it easier to verify a diagnosis and repair. Technicians can find the most common reason the check engine light appears on 2004 and newer Mazdas in half the time or better.
The new coverage in Snap-on Software Bundle 13.2 includes additional diagnostic capabilities for over 63 million vehicles on the road today, expanding repair shops’ service reach while fueling efficiency and productivity in the bay. Technicians can service more cars than ever before because the newest Snap-on diagnostic software upgrade offers 54,000 new codes, tests, tips and data going back to 1998 for all major makes, plus new 2012 domestic and Asian model year coverage for Acura, Chrysler, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Kia and Mitsubishi, the company states.
