Techs performing advanced automotive functions and standard electrical circuit/component testing can see a big productivity upgrade with the Snap-on EEDM596FK Advanced Digital Multimeter.
Techs performing advanced automotive functions and standard electrical circuit/component testing can see a big productivity upgrade with the Snap-on® EEDM596FK Advanced Digital Multimeter, thanks to its first-to-market horizontal orientation and large 4″ full-color LCD screen, which is 115% larger than Snap-on predecessors.
For brake work and other jobs previously requiring multiple technicians, now one tech can do the work of two thanks to the multimeter’s exclusive app that captures, stores, and shares real-time readings via Bluetooth® remote display on the tech’s own smartphone. Techs can download the free app on either Apple® or Android™ devices, and immediately start capturing desired readings and communicating directly with customers and other techs via text, email or social media. "Combining the fan-favorite features and advanced automotive functions of our previous multimeters with a horizontal orientation, built-in tilt stand to showcase the full-color, 4″ LCD screen, plus a free, exclusive app that reads, stores and shares results, makes for one powerful tool for techs," says David Brekke, a Snap-on Tools product manager. “The app displays, graphs and stores measurements in real-time on the techs’ device, which can be shared with vehicle owner via text, email or social media. The multimeter also features a Hybrid CATIV rating, and a unique customer-requested lead storage wrap.” The EEDM596FK performs advanced multimeter and automotive functions such as electrical circuit and component testing for all vehicles using: AC/DC Current Hz Frequency RPM, Duty, Dwell, Pulse AC/DC mV Noise Reduction STR 2 and 4 Stroke AC/DC Volts Ohms IP, IG Auto Ranging Peak Hold Temp Capacitance REC Record Mode True RMS CYL Cylinder REL Relative Mode In addition to the multimeter, included components consist of two fuses, a 61-inch test lead set with clips, inductive pickup, a temperature probe and adaptor, carry case and USB-based multi-language user manual. Users might also choose the optional low, medium and high Amp clamps, magnetic strap hanger, pressure adaptor or modular lead set.
