The resource is called myCARFAX.com. The service is a personal vehicle information management service that allows motorists to consolidate and track information about all the vehicles in their household. The service may also provide motorists with alerts about safety recalls, warranty information, email reminders about recommended services, access to service history on their vehicles and other vehicle service‐related information.
The service may also provide information relating to third party products or services, such as coupons, discounts and special offers.
“The myCARFAX.com tool is another resource for consumers, offered by the Motorist Assurance Program to help motorists maintain their car’s efficiency and reliability. Access to detailed service history from multiple service providers allows consumers and shops to better identify maintenance recommendations and better diagnose repair concerns” according to Barry Soltz, AMRA/MAP President.
Visit the Motorist Assurance Program website www.motorist.com and click on the Resources tab to find a link to myCARFAX.
