Curry's Auto Service named a fastest growing company by Washington Smart CEO

Curry's Auto Service has been named one of the "2013 Future 50" -  the fastest growing companies in the Washington, D.C., area - by Washington Smart CEO Magazine.

Curry's Auto Service has been named one of the "2013 Future 50" -  the fastest growing companies in the Washington, D.C., area - by Washington Smart CEO Magazine. The winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony on Jan. 31 at the Sheraton Premier in Tysons Corner, Va.

This is the second year that Curry's Auto Service has made the Future 50 list, by which Washington Smart CEO recognizes the fastest growing Washington-area companies, based on employee and revenue growth over the past three years. Curry's Auto Service recorded revenues of $17.1 million in 2011, an increase of $7.1 million or 41 percent over its revenues of $10 million in 2009.

"I look at our business as building long-term relationships and customer satisfaction," says Founder and CEO  Matt Curry."We choose our locations based on customers' needs and we use a business model that we can easily replicate."

As a result of their growth, Curry's Auto Service has been listed for three consecutive years (2010 - 2012) on the Inc 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in the U.S. In September 2012, the Washington Business Journal named Curry's Auto Service for the second year to its list of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies in the Washington, D.C., area.

Headquartered in Gainesville, Va., Curry’s Auto Service is one of the largest independent auto service and repair shops in the Washington, D.C., area, with nine locations in Northern Virginia and one in Maryland. Curry's services more than 4500 customers each month at its shops in Alexandria, Arlington, Chantilly, Dulles, Fairfax City, Falls Church, Gainesville, Gaithersburg and Great Falls/Reston. As part of its growth strategy, Curry's opened three new stores in 2011. They plan to open a shop in Leesburg, Va., later this year.
