Bosch adds new SKUs to select brake pad lines

Robert Bosch LLC, a supplier of automotive parts to original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and the aftermarket, has expanded its disc brake pad coverage for Asian, domestic and European vehicles.

This latest expansion offers five new Bosch Blue Brake Pad part numbers and five new Bosch QuietCast™ Brake Pad part numbers, including one copper-free set.

Bosch Blue Brake Pads The five new Bosch Blue Brake pad sets that have been added to the line-up expand Bosch coverage for many late-model Asian, Domestic and European vehicles such as the 2013-2014 Nissan Altima, 2012-2013 GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD, and 2011-2013 BMW X3.  The additional part numbers together cover 0.6 million units in operation.  Brake sets with included hardware kits are offered for applications such as the 2012-2014 Nissan NV1500, NV 2500, and NV 3500; and 2012-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and 3500 HD. Built for the ‘everyday’ driver, Bosch Blue Brake Pads are designed to deliver quality, performance and value.
Bosch QuietCast Brake Pads Bosch has introduced five new part numbers for its premium line of QuietCast Brake Pads, including one new copper-free set for 2006 BMW 525i, 2008 BMW 528i, BMW 528xi, and 2004-2007 BMW 530i. Synthetic lubricant is included with all sets. Additional vehicle coverage includes 2010-2011 Toyota Prius, 2011 Lexus CT 200h, 2012-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, 2012-2014 Hyundai Equus, and more.

The new QuietCast part numbers cover an additional 1.1 million units in operation. They feature a pre-attached rubber core shim – the best available in the industry. Mainly used by original equipment manufacturers, the rubber core shim is exclusively offered by Bosch for the independent aftermarket.
