Robert Bosch LLC, a supplier of automotive parts and systems to original equipment manufacturers and the independent aftermarket worldwide, has added 49 new part numbers to its product portfolio for April 2015. Additions have been made to Bosch Blue brake pads, rotating machines, auxiliary lighting and fuel pump lines.

Bosch Blue Brake Pads
Bosch has added two new sets to the Bosch Blue Brake Pad product line – with a hardware kit included for one of these sets. The new sets come towel-wrapped for added protection and value and cover about 300,000 additional late-model Domestic and European units in operation.

The SKU that includes a hardware kit fits the following applications: 2012 – 2013 Lexus GS 350; 2012 – 2013 Lexus GS 450H and 2012 – 2013 Lexus IS 350. The second SKU fits 2012 – 2015 Dodge Durango; 2013 – 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee; 2012 Mercedes-Benz GL350, GL 450 and ML 350.

Bosch Blue Brake Pads are specially designed to deliver quality, value and performance to the ‘everyday driver.’ Select sets come towel-wrapped, as do the current additions, in a material that is similar to the shop towels that technicians use on a daily basis while working on customers’ cars.

Rotating Machines
The Bosch Starting and Charging systems group has released 14 new part numbers covering 2.2 million additional vehicles in operation in the U.S. and Canada – thereby extending Bosch coverage for late-model Domestic, Asian and European vehicles. The new releases include one remanufactured alternator and 13 new and remanufactured starters.

This month marks the introduction of the first five aftermarket starters released by Bosch for start/stop applications, including coverage for select 2011-2014 Porsche, 2013-2014 Mercedes-Benz and 2012-2013 Kia vehicles.

Other starter coverage includes 2011-2014 Audi TT Quattro 4 Cyl. 2.0L, Gas Turbocharged; 2011- 2013 Volkswagen Golf 4 Cyl. 2.0L Diesel; 2014 Mercedes Benz CL 550 V8 Cyl. 4.6L Gas, 2013 Buick Encore L4 Cyl. 1.4 L, 2012-2013 Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic L4 Cyl. 1.4L and more.

The Bosch remanufactured alternator covers 2012-2014 Volkswagen Passat L4 Cyl. 2.0L TDI Diesel.

Bosch remanufactured alternators and starters are performance-tested for longer more reliable service and both, new and reman units are designed to meet or exceed manufacturers’ recommendations.

Auxiliary Lighting
Bosch has added nine new part numbers to its comprehensive line of auxiliary lamps which include Pilot and Rally series universal fog lamps and driving lights. These lights are for universal applications and meet SAE standards.

Bosch auxiliary lamps are designed to improve a vehicle’s lighting profile. Better illumination enhances driving safety on the road by allowing drivers more time to react to changing traffic conditions and hazards lying ahead.

Bosch Fuel PumpsBosch has expanded the range of fuel pumps and modules that it offers the aftermarket with the addition of 24 new part numbers. The additions extend Bosch coverage by 4.4 million late-model Domestic, Asian and European vehicles in operation.

The new additions include fuel pump module assemblies for 2008 – 2010 Ford F-350, F-450, F-550 Super Duty 5.4L V8, 6.8L V10; 2010 Ford Mustang 4.0L, 4.6L; 2007 – 2011 Chevrolet Corvette, 2007 2008 Cadillac XLR; 2003 – 2007 Nissan Murano 3.5L and many more applications. A fuel pump kit is available for 1999 – 2001 Ford Explorer 4.0L and Mercury Mountaineer 4.0L; 1999 – 2002 Ford Expedition 4.6L, 5.4L and for Ford Focus 2.0L and 2.3L and more.
