Tenneco’s Rancho performance brand now offers a new 6-inch suspension system for 2018-17 Ford F-150 pickup trucks.

Tenneco’s Rancho® performance brand now offers a new 6-inch suspension system for 2018-17 Ford F-150 pickup trucks. Available through performance retailers across North America, the new system (Part no. RS66506B) is precision engineered to offer performance-minded drivers exceptional strength and durability, no-nonsense installation and superior performance, no matter the terrain.

Featuring a reinforced, fully boxed welded subframe manufactured from high-strength, low-alloy steel and DOM tubing, the kit is specially designed to minimize vibration and ride harshness while offering maximum structural integrity and OE-level quality.

Carefully designed components ensure precise fit in a system engineered to maintain proper CV joint and drive shaft angles, steering geometry, track width and factory location of the rack and pinion. A pair of bolt-on, 6-inch strut spacers for the front of the vehicle are designed to install easily without the need to disassemble the factory struts.

Other kit features include CNC-machined extended steering knuckles, CV spacers, brake line brackets, sway bar relocation brackets, rear leaf spring blocks and other necessary hardware. For the front, two Rancho strut towers (Part no. RS88652) or a set of two RS5000X struts – each of which is sold separately – are required for complete installation. For the rear, a tapered block, U-bolts and other necessary hardware are provided.

No drivetrain modifications are required for the system, which also utilizes OE tie rod ends and fits up to 35-inch tires. In addition, a set of two Rancho RS5000X, RS7000®MT or RS9000XL rear shock absorbers are recommended for a superior driving experience.

Each Rancho suspension kit, along with RS5000X, RS7000MT and RS9000XL dampers, are backed by Rancho’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. Rancho RS5000X struts and RS5000X, RS7000MT and RS9000XL shock absorbers also are covered by a 90-day risk-free ride offer, which allows consumers to try certain shock models on any truck or SUV for 90 days. Consumers can return their shocks within 90 days for a full refund of the product’s purchase price. To learn more about the warranties and offers, visit www.GoRancho.com.
