Wells Vehicle Electronics launches new Smog Test for GoTech Mobile Diagnostic Tool

Wells Vehicle Electronics is excited to announce the implementation of its new Smog Test for the company’s GoTech™ Mobile OBDII Diagnostic Tool – an innovative automotive diagnostic solution for consumers and repair professionals. Available as a free in-app upgrade when using the GoTech device, the Smog Test allows users to identify incomplete powertrain system monitors on their vehicle which may indicate issues related to excessive emissions levels. The GoTech scan tool identifies when the vehicle may be emitting excessive levels of smog emissions and the user-friendly, mobile interface offers easy-to-read test summaries. Users can also identify technical service bulletins (TSB) and recall information as it applies to each specific vehicle. The device can store up to 10 vehicles and includes a “Freeze Frame” option, giving users the ability to email vehicle performance information at the time the code is set. The tool works with OBDII vehicles (model years 1996 and newer) and is compatible with iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
