The Automotive Service Association of PA (ASA-PA) has announced a new benefit provider for its members: Comcast Spotlight, which will help ASA members in Pennsylvania reach current and potential customers.
ASA-PA members will receive 10 percent off Comcast’s regular marketing rates. Comcast Spotlight will also offer an ASA-PA member the ability to market solely to consumers in their geographic area.
“Comcast Spotlight offers 57 networks that reach people of different ethnic and social backgrounds and appeal to a wide variety of interests,” said Jules Quinones of Comcast Spotlight. “Local cable will offer ASA-PA members the ability to advertise to the customers who are most likely to patronize their local business.”
Quinones also pointed out that Comcast Spotlight advertisers reach quality audiences. “For example,” he said, “cable subscribers in Philadelphia are affluent and educated; close to 50 percent earn over $75,000 per year and 56 percent have attended college.” A Nielsen study shows viewers watch 36 hours of ad-supported cable per week. Quinones also said ad-supported primetime ratings among adults 25-54 have grown 34 percent.
Keith Heilveil, chairperson of ASA-PA, said there will be many benefits to using Comcast Spotlight as a marketing/branding tool. “Using Comcast Spotlight means members won’t be wasting dollars by needlessly advertising to viewers outside their market areas. They will be targeting those who are truly potential customers.”
