Chad Hawkins has joined Airtex-ASC as quality manager, fuel/continuous improvement, it was announced today by Rick Hindi, global quality director for Airtex-ASC.
“As we continue to set a new standard when it comes to innovative, high-quality manufacturing processes, we knew Chad Hawkins would be an excellent addition to the Airtex-ASC team,” said Hindi. “Chad has over 20 years of quality systems management experience and as a certified lean leader, he brings a wealth of knowledge in the area of lean manufacturing to Airtex-ASC.”
In his new role, Hawkins will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of advanced composite materials and applications.
Hawkins has held a wide array of manufacturing and engineering positions throughout his career including stints with HEXPOL Compounding, Dana, Bates Rubber, Goodyear and Honeywell. A graduate of Murray State University, Hawkins has a Bachelor of Science degree in manufacturing engineering technology.
