Jarrett Affolter is Product Specialist Team Leader, Ingersoll Rand® Compression Technologies & Services.
He is responsible for providing technical assistance and application guidance to channel partners. Affolter develops and maintains sales effectiveness tools and competitive information to educate sales teams on the products and the industry. He has been with Ingersoll Rand since 2000.
After serving in the U.S. Navy for four years as a nuclear machinist’s mate, Affolter began his career as a service technician with Ingersoll Rand. In that position, Affolter gained hands-on experience installing, maintaining and repairing compressed air equipment within his region. In 2004, Affolter was promoted to become a technical support and training engineer. In this capacity, he developed and maintained troubleshooting and repair technical guides and manuals to provide technical assistance and factory training to personnel working on compressor equipment in the field.
In addition to several U.S. Navy and Ingersoll Rand compressor certifications, Affolter has Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Universal Refrigeration and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace certifications.
