Veyance Technologies announces the release of 184 new part numbers for its automotive aftermarket and heavy-duty product lines during the third quarter of 2013.

Veyance Technologies, Inc., manufacturer of Goodyear® Engineered Products and Gatorback® belts, announces the release of 184 new part numbers for its automotive aftermarket and heavy-duty product lines during the third quarter of 2013.

Among the new parts is the OAD & OAP Toolkit for the removal and installation of overrunning alternator decouplers (OADs) and overrunning alternator pulleys (OAPs) on some of the most popular vehicles on the road today. The kit – which includes two pulley sockets and three shaft bits – helps technicians save time when servicing the belt system, which reduces costs for the vehicle owner. The OAD & OAP Toolkit can be seen in the 2013 AAPEX Product Showcase and at the Goodyear Engineered Products booth (No. 3638) in Las Vegas.

The company also added 48 lawn and garden belts in Q3 (a total of 68 belts in 2013) as a part of a concerted effort to expand its lawn and garden product line.

The new additions provide even more extensive vehicle coverage for some of the brand’s most popular products, including:

·         73 poly-v belt and tensioner kits

·         48 lawn & garden belts

·         21 molded radiator hoses

·         13 molded heater hoses

·         12 automotive belts

·         9 tensioners, pulleys and OADs

·         5 hose connectors

·         2 timing belt component kits

·         1 OAD/OAP toolkit

“We use DataDrive™, our market intelligence system, to anticipate our customers’ replacement needs and quickly add those parts to meet market expectations,” said Tom Lee, marketing manager at Veyance Technologies. “We’ll continue to invest in all of our product lines in order to provide our customers with optimized inventories.”

The company has added more than 1,000 part numbers over the past two years as part of its commitment to expand coverage to more domestic and import vehicles. Goodyear Engineered Products belts and hoses now cover more than 98 percent and 95 percent, respectively, of vehicles in operation.
