March indicators report: Miles driven falls but lower oil prices should help aftermarket

April 10, 2013
March monthly indicators report reviews economic factors affecting the automotive aftermarket.

"We are hopeful that decreasing oil prices in February and March will positively impact miles driven in the coming months but we believe that hope is not well placed, especially when factoring in slow-to-no household income growth over the same period," noted Dr. Timonthy Nash of Northwood University who helps prepare the reports. Learn more about the March monthly indicators report.
