Telematics is a wireless communication within a vehicle supporting applications such as satellite navigation, vehicle tracking, internet connections and vehicle diagnostics. One source predicts that 90 percent of vehicles will have a built-in connectivity platform by 2020, compared to only 10 percent in 2013.
