OTC will host a Technician Challenge and highlight its latest products and technologies in tools, equipment, diagnostics and A/C recovery at the 2015 Automechanika Chicago tradeshow and training event. The show runs from April 24-26 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
Technicians with the fastest times will be eligible to win an OTC Encore, an OTC Ford master cam tool kit or a set of award-winning OTC tools. To participate in the challenge, technicians can pre-register at OTCTools.com/technician-challenge or visit booth No. 1338 at Automechanika Chicago.
Additionally, OTC will feature hands-on, high-tech training seminars designed to help busy professionals. The sessions are geared to help techs stay competitive using the latest tools and equipment to diagnose, service and repair both foreign and domestic vehicles. With vehicle technologies becoming increasingly advanced, high-tech training is more essential than ever for qualified technicians.
Drivability training seminars will include:
• J 2534 Reprogramming – Duane Watson, field training specialist; Saturday, April 25 from 8:30-11:45 a.m. Session ID: SAAM25.
• Air and Fuel Systems Efficiency Testing with a Scan Tool – Steven Zack, field training specialist; Saturday, April 25 from 2-3:30 p.m. Session ID: SAPM24.
