CHICAGO — Orio is moving out into more coverage with lines coming for European vehicles.
The company, which supplies SAAB OE parts, is kicking off the new lines for Swedish and German makes at Automechanika Chicago this weekend.
“There’s still people who are not aware there is a good source for SAAB parts,” said Tim Colbeck, president and CEO of Orio. He adds that in the coming weeks, a portal for mechanical and body shops to get parts for SAAB and other models is going live.
The entire Orio catalog is web-enabled and serves the network of official service centers, with the portal allowing other shops to go beyond just SAAB. Delivery for the portal parts is available overnight, second day or ground, and high-level customers can arrange an overnight truck delivery from Orio’s warehouse in North Carolina or new 200,000-square-foot facility in Bethleham, Pa. Signing up for the service is easy on the Orio website, Colbeck added.
“We really have care of our customers as a focal point and they have OE quality,” he said. “We’ve done our homework and know it’s going to fit and we stand behind it.”
Ultimately, Orio’s new diagnostic tool will tie into the portal. The wireless controller with supplied laptop features code reading, diagrams and more.
