CHICAGO — Mitchell 1 is more than just OE information, growing its network of technician-supplied solutions and other diagrams, information and more into its marquee program ProDemand.
ProDemand is Mitchell 1’s repair, diagnostic and maintenance information program. It is set up to help technician find information quickly when repairing vehicles.
“The nice feature of ProDemand with SureTrack is there’s a community that’s attached, so users that are comfortable both asking and answering questions, when they run into a dead end, they can go into the community and get a question answered,” said Nick DiVerde, senior marketing director for Mitchell 1, of the SureTrack Community.
And if the technician has the expertise in an area, Mitchell 1 can designate them as an expert. They then will be alerted when a question in their area is posted without having to log in.
The company recently updated ProDemand by consolidating vintage repair and estimating information into the application to deliver full year, make and model coverage from 1974 to the present year. Other features of the system include ProView, which provides all of the known fixed components for that code or symptom, or multiple codes and symptoms, based on real-world content, and a mobile feature for use on tablets.
