Messe Frankfurt, producer of Automechanika, the leading international brand of automotive trade shows and the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) have signed an agreement of support in the launch of Automechanika Chicago, the 14th installment of the brand worldwide. Set to take place April 24 to 26, 2015, Automechanika Chicago will be held at McCormick Place West, Chicago.
APRA is a non-profit, international trade association serving more than 1,000 companies involved in the $35 billion/year motor vehicle parts rebuilding/remanufacturing industry. Their longstanding relationship with the Automechanika brand worldwide as well as the partnership with PAACE Automechanika Mexico City shows the significance of their position within the industry.
“Educating the market is a primary goal of APRA and the general focus of Automechanika Chicago, which makes our alliance a natural one. Opening its doors to more than 8,500 attendees, Automechanika Chicago will showcase a broad range of products from an estimated 400 exhibitors, 30% coming from countries such as Europe, Italy, Turkey and others. Automechanika Chicago is produced jointly between Messe Frankfurt and Advanstar Communications, the leading producer of U.S. tradeshows, and provider of integrated media solutions to the automotive aftermarket – daily reaching millions of service & collision repair professionals, technicians, original equipment and aftermarket manufacturers and distributors. Automechanika Chicago will be the largest U.S. trade show for automotive technicians and shop owners dedicated to high-end technical training and management classes, while showcasing the newest tools, equipment and products in the market.
