Permatex.com, now easily viewed on mobile devices, has several newly added features including social media functions and a BLOG that shares useful product experiences and knowledge to further engage users and help customers. To help customers find answers and tips for their application problems, Permatex has incorporated a searchable FAQ knowledge base and an Ask the Experts component.

Users also have the ability to search the full site with any text entry. The product section has been formatted to keep customers up to date with latest new products, share related products, provide a gallery of images and offer printable instructions.

The training section features a robust library of training videos covering various service and repair projects as well as overviews and how-to information on Permatex gasketing and threadlocker product lines. The videos can be easily shared on Facebook and via emails. Customers are also provided with an online sign up to request a free training clinic.

The ‘Where to Buy’ section allows users to find their nearest Permatex retailer via zip code. The “who we serve” pages speaks to the end users in Permatex key markets, automotive, motorcycle, marine, heavy duty, and industrial, taking visitors right to their area of interest.

A special print function allows users to print product instruction sheets, as well as TDS (Technical Data Sheets), MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and CPS (Certificate of Compliance) files. Special tabs for TDS, MSDS, and CPS are prominently positioned on the home page for quicker access and reference Permatex distribution customers.

Interactive Product Selector to be added
A key element of the new website will be a new interactive Product Selector, which will be incorporated later. This multi-purpose tool will play an invaluable role in helping Permatex users find the right product for the job.

Multi-faceted media campaign support
The new website will be launched and supported by a comprehensive media campaign targeting both trade and consumer audiences. The campaign includes a full roster of media venues such as print ads, online and digital media, behavioral media, an online promotion at permatex.com, featuring a Go Kart giveaway, PR outreach, and social networking via Facebook and Twitter.
