Hyundai CEO, other auto execs honored by Northwood University

Auto industry business executives were honored at the 33rd Annual Outstanding Business Leader (OBL) awards gala in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Several auto industry notables are among nationally known business executives who were honored for their outstanding achievements at the 33rd Annual Outstanding Business Leader (OBL) awards gala in West Palm Beach, Fla.

John Krafcik, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor America; Jim Koons chief executive officer of Jim Koons Automotive Companies Inc.; and John A. Hohman, retired vice president of Monroe Auto Equipment Company, accepted honors at the event, which is sponsored by Northwood University’s West Palm Beach Campus.

Northwood University annually recognizes a select group of men and women for their business achievements and for their support and exemplary leadership of the communities in which they live and work. These individuals serve as role models for Northwood University students, all of whom are engaged in the study of business management and who aspire to successful careers. In the 33 years since the program’s founding, more than 300 business leaders from more than 30 states and several countries, representing dozens of industries and fields of business expertise, have received the Outstanding Business Leader Award.

Boll, retired CEO & Chairman of the Board of Chateau Communities Inc.; Robert L. Forbes, vice president, Forbes Inc. and President, ForbesLife; Anthony Lomangino, chairman and founder; Southern Waste Systems and Sun Recycling; and Jack Miller, founder and former president/CEO of Quill Corporation.
