“Roppel Industries has been a driving force in the heating and cooling segment of the industry for more than six decades,” says Mike Lambert, president of the Network.

“Roppel is a strong, growing company that should flourish under the Auto Pride banner in the Network.”

Founded by brothers Virgil and John Roppel as a small radiator company in 1947, Roppel Industries today has eight warehouses—two each in Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio and Indiana—along with four retail stores in Louisville, home of the company’s main warehouse and offices.

“As the company has expanded over the years, Roppel Industries has added a greater variety of product lines, and I’m confident Auto Pride will be an integral part of their ongoing success,” said Steve Tucker, Network vice president.

Roppel Industries plans to continue their steady expansion utilizing the Network’s buying power as well as the complete Auto Pride program, said Ryan Roppel, Southern operations manager.

“The timing was right for us to join a group as part of our continued growth strategy,” said Roppel, a third-generation executive. “In addition to Auto Pride’s marketing tools and support, we feel comfortable with the people and the atmosphere of the Network.”

Operating under the brands of Parts Plus, IAPA, Auto Star, Auto Pride, CMB, and Network Products, the Automotive Distribution Network is one of the largest and most diverse program groups in the automotive aftermarket.
