Vision Conference Sets Attendance Record, Delivers Essentials of Supplier Value

The AASA 2013 Vision Conference was dedicated to providing aftermarket suppliers with the tools they need to become an essential supplier.   

The Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) 2013 Vision Conference held on Thursday March 15 delivered a day-long series of presentations and panels all dedicated to providing aftermarket suppliers with the tools they need to become an essential supplier.

The event, held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare set a new record in Vision Conference attendance with more than 300 participants attending the conference and its concurrent council meetings. Attendees represented 160 different supplier companies and business-serving suppliers. Top leadership from aftermarket suppliers was clearly represented as nearly 50 percent of the attendees had a title of Vice President or greater.

The conference theme, “Essentials for Creating Supplier Value,” captured the event goal – providing clarity to those elements that are essentials for creating supplier value. Attendees participated in this unique forum for association members only to meet with industry peers and to gain insight on the strategies and thought leadership that is driving the aftermarket both today and tomorrow.
