Uni-Select Inc. has completed the acquisition of the remaining 50 percent equity interest of Pièces d’Autos La Malbaie Inc. and, through one of its subsidiaries, the assets of Pièces d’Autos AFCAR. These acquisitions expand Uni-Select’s reach in Québec.
Pièces d’Autos La Malbaie Inc., a Uni-Select partner since 1995, has been a wholesaler of automotive parts and paint products since 1969, operating from two stores in La Malbaie and Baie-Saint- Paul, Québec. The 16 professionals who contributed to building its reputation and position in the market now join the Uni-Select team.
Pièces d’Autos AFCAR, a Uni-Select member since 2013, has been a wholesaler of aftermarket and remanufactured automotive parts located in Gatineau, Québec. Uni-Select said it is glad to welcome six new professionals to its team.
“These acquisitions are in line with our objective to build a corporate store network in Canada and grow our business in Québec,” stated Gary O’Connor, President and Chief Operating Officer, Automotive Canada.
