Transtar Industries recently released its 2018 Automatic Transmission Parts Catalog with coverage through model year 2017.
Transtar’s all-inclusive, 1,400-page catalog features 35 new transmission families, representing 74 transmission applications. The new power grid charts simplify the identification and position of hard parts in the transmission. In addition, the new catalog offers comprehensive listings of OE and aftermarket fluid for each transmission, as well as citing torque converters and flexplates by transmission application.

Transtar partnered with Sonnax for another new feature in this catalog: Valve Body exploded views. As transmissions become more complex, diagnosing and repairing electronics and electrical systems is a necessary part of the rebuild process. The detailed views of the Valve Bodies take the guess work out of Valve Body rebuilding. Additionally, Solenoid charts are listed, when available, for ease of Solenoid identification and ordering.
