The National Pronto Association and the University of the Aftermarket Foundation have established 12 annual scholarships for employees and children of active Pronto Auto Service Center customers.

The $2,500 scholarships, funded by National Pronto Association and its warehouse distributor members, are administered by the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. Eligible students may apply online by visiting www.automotivescholarships.com and clicking on Pronto. The deadline for applications is March 31, 2017.
“We commend National Pronto and its members for making an investment in the future of the employees and children of its Pronto Auto Service members,” said Tim Lee, MAAP, chairman of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. “On behalf of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation, we are proud to partner with Pronto to help make continuing education more accessible and affordable for members of the Pronto family.”

To be eligible, Pronto scholarship applicants must meet the criteria outlined in the Pronto section of the Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship Central website and must name Pronto in the sponsor section of their completed application. Qualified students include those attending a two or four-year accredited college, an ASE/NATEF certified post-secondary automotive/heavy duty/collision technician training program, or any licensed and accredited vocation school. In addition, students graduating from high school in 2017 that will attend one of these post-secondary programs are also eligible.

As an added benefit, all completed scholarship applications submitted by the March 31, 2017 deadline will be considered by every organization listed on www.automotivescholarships.com where the qualifications are met. Last year more than 50 students received multiple scholarships from their one application.
