The Velocity platform integrates original equipment product lines, or a user’s vehicle parts catalog data, and matches it to Experian Automotive’s AutoCount Vehicles in OperationSM database through Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) Aftermarket Catalog Enhanced Standard (ACES) codes. Based on this data, Parts in Operation creates multiple road map options, providing users with actionable information that enables them to better understand what is happening in their market, why it is occurring and how to move forward based on the results. The road maps include inventory management and gap analysis plans, which contain interactive maps, graphs, charts and customized data that can be analyzed rapidly within the tool or easily exported for use in the user’s own product set.

Experian Automotive will be demonstrating the new Parts in Operation tool at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), Oct. 30–Nov. 1, Booth #2681.

Experian’s vehicles in operation data is available four weeks after the close of the quarter, is coded to the AAIA vehicle standards, and includes detailed vehicle attributes for vehicle model years 1967 and newer.
