Examining year-end financial decisions for your shop

Watching four areas and comparing year-over-year figures can bring your auto repair shop to a successful year-end financial close.

Tschanen Brandyberry, special projects editor for the UBM Americas Automotive Group, wrote a blog, “Close out your auto repair shop’s financials the right way.”

As the end of the year approaches, auto repair and collision shops, and auto parts sellers should review the year and begin financial planning for 2017. While keeping a close eye on the numbers part of the business is a recommended practice throughout the year, that doesn’t always happen.
