Brembo announced the appointment of Brian Lesiewicz to the position of Aftermarket Manager, Brembo North America.

Lesiewicz joins Brembo following eight years of service at Exide Technologies, where he was the Sales Director of Retail Key Accounts. Before Exide, Lesiewicz worked for Automotive Distributors Warehouse, in their General Motors Accessory Distributor Installer (ADI) division.

Lesiewicz is a 2005 graduate of the Automotive Aftermarket Management program at Northwood University.

“As Brembo continues to grow globally, we are continuously seeking innovative talent in the ever-growing North American market,” said Dan Sandberg, president and chief executive officer, Brembo North America. “Brian brings a wealth of automotive aftermarket knowledge to Brembo and he will continue to improve our customer service levels and the marketing of our developing line of aftermarket brake products to the retail, distributor and direct installer segments.”

Brembo manufactured its first aftermarket brake disc in 1964 and now offers a complete line of premium discs, rotors, brake fluid and other components globally. Today the company operates in 16 countries on three continents, with 24 production and business sites, and about 7,800 employees, about 10 percent of whom are engineers and product specialists active in research and development.
