More than 100 Network members representing 37 shareholders and 50 manufacturer partners attended the three-day event.

While celebrating 60 years of the Parts Plus brand, the Automotive Distribution Network held its fall shareholder meeting in Scottsdale, Ariz. from September 24-26, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch.

More than 100 Network members representing 37 shareholders and 50 manufacturer partners attended the three-day event. The executive staff met with shareholders to elect the new Board of Directors, and focused on discussions regarding the groups future product strategy, inventory planning and deployment, membership expansion and continued IT solutions.

“The Network convenes each fall to set a focus for the upcoming year, including our group’s future direction with expanded opportunities that encompass new product initiatives, capitalizing on national accounts, and inviting our vendors to become a larger part of our overall business and technology platforms,” said David Prater, Network president. “During this meeting, we also welcomed a new chairman, Adam Honegger, CEO of Parts Plus of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Adam replaces former Chairman David T. Segal, president at Automotive Supply Associates, Inc. in Concord, N.H. We want to thank Mr. Segal for his tireless commitment to the Network over the past two years, while also looking forward to Mr. Honegger’s renewed perspective.”

Other installed Network Board of Directors are:

                  • David T. Segal, president, Automotive Supply Associates, Inc., Concord, N.H.

                  • Kenny Maurer, president, Big City Automotive, Hicksville, N.Y.

                  • Tony DiFiore, CEO, Car Parts Warehouse, Brook Park, Ohio

                  • Victor Davis, CEO, Fast Undercar, Ventura, Calif.

                  • Reid Ferguson, president, Modern Sales, Ontario, Canada

In addition, the shareholder members also participated in a business intelligence panel discussion on Vista Modeling that was moderated by industry expert Peter Kornafel.

“The Network is the industry leader in technology, and we strive to continue the groups success in this expansive field,” said Tom Frey, vice president of IT at the Network. “Sharing insight on how our members use our forecast-based inventory planning solution, and what has had the greatest impact, assists our efforts to ensure we are implementing and delivering the best possible solutions to our group.”
