The Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) and the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) announced a free webinar that will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. EST for those seeking to implement the AftermarketMatch.com e-commerce matching service. Aftermarket Match is a website jointly produced by AASA and AAIA to enable automotive trading partners to easily discover the e-commerce and data requirements of one another.

The webinar will include a brief overview of the benefits of registering with the website and how to get started. A demonstration of the functionality will explain how either a supplier or retailer/distributor can post their capabilities or requirements for such industry standards as the Aftermarket Catalog Enhanced Standard (ACES), the Product Information Exchange Standard (PIES) or Internet Parts Ordering (IPO). Users can also specify their EDI and Web Service requirements. The site allows trading partners to quickly discover where their e-commerce capabilities are aligned. This visibility promotes increased adoption of industry standards and ensures that standards-based IT initiatives deliver the maximum return on investment.
Aftermarket Match was originally known as the ATC eCommerce Matrix. Through collaboration with AAIA and technology supported by Pricedex Software, the associations have developed this new industry-wide directory of e-commerce capabilities and requirements. There is no cost to users of the site, and it is open to all aftermarket resellers and suppliers.
There is no fee to attend, but advance registration is required for the webinar on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. EST. To register, visit https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/667323626.
