ACDelco’s commitment to aftermarket excellence has been recognized with recent awards.

Replacement Parts Inc. of Little Rock, Ark., recently presented ACDelco with its 2012 Outstanding Marketing/Vendor Partner Award for overall marketing support. The account produced several creative incentive programs aimed at increasing sales of ACDelco products to Professional Service Center program participants and independent service center customers. One three-month promotion was used to grow business through the company and independently owned Bumper to Bumper auto parts stores.

Prizes awarded in the various promotions and sales competitions throughout 2012 included gift cards, a Seadoo Waverunner, an ATV and a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab pickup.

“We were honored to receive the Outstanding Marketing/Vender Partner Award because we believe our growth is directly tied to the success of our partners,” said Chris Brandt, ACDelco national marketing manager.

In other awards news, ACDelco’s 40 years of membership in the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) were recognized at the group’s annual Vision Conference, a forum for exchanging ideas, best practices and collaborative efforts to help aftermarket suppliers adapt and prosper in the changing global marketplace.

“Although we have more than 100 years of experience in the automotive industry, associations such as AASA give our industry a voice and help us stay on top of global trends – especially since our products are sold in more than 100 countries on six continents,” said Brandt.

ACDelco also was recognized by Federated Car Care Professionals for its support and contributions to the 2012 Federated Car Care Program.

ACDelco offers Web-based, hands-on/instructor led technical, and virtual classroom training designed to help technicians and independent shops keep up with ever-changing vehicle technology, including hybrid vehicles and emerging technologies.
