Rumor has it that GAC Changfeng Motor will announce the integration between its Liebao CS7 and Liebao Feiteng businesses at the upcoming 2010 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. The carmaker’s Liebao Feiteng has integrated the core technology and engine of Mitsubishi, a leading auto brand worldwide, into the vehicle’s unique frame.
According to an insider at GAC Changfeng Motor, the automaker plans to integrate the two product lines, with the aim of providing more choices and more diversified driving experiences for different consumer bases and addressing different needs in the SUV market segment. The plan is also consistent with the maker’s operation strategies to transform its products from professional SUVs to family sedans and to transform its concept from B2B to B2C.
The integration between Liebao CS7 and Liebao Feiteng is expected to prove to be a right choice for GAC Changfeng Motor in addressing the rapidly growing SUV market. In addition, the automaker is expected to integrate its other SUV product lines in the near future.
