Most customers select auto repair shops based on location – the closer to home or work the better fit.

If you are one of the repair shops being considered based on location, there are other things you can do to be the top choice, even if you are not the closest shop offering service.

It all starts with mobile-friendly website that includes search engine optimization. Customers of all ages tend to perform searches on their phones and tablets more than on desktop or laptop computers.

Your hours of operation and phone number need to be prominently displayed for easy click-to-call access. You also should have an option on your website for customers to schedule appointments online, for those who prefer that option.
