Poorman Automotive Warehouse selects MAM Software

Poorman Automotive Warehouse implemented Autopart Online, MAM Software's cloud hosted Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) version of the business management software.

Poorman Automotive Warehouse, an automotive warehouse distributor servicing the Midwest, selected MAM Software’s MAM Autopart Online as its business management solution.

Designed for parts distributors, jobbers and retailers, Autopart is a versatile business-management solution that seamlessly integrates sales, inventory management and reporting processes in one easy-to-use system, the company said.

Poorman Automotive Warehouse, a member of the Pronto group, an ACDelco Direct Account and a Motorcraft Factory Authorized Distributor, implemented Autopart Online, MAM's cloud hosted Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) version of the business management software. The fully managed service simplifies the installation process, allows updates to be handled remotely and eliminates the need for Poorman's to invest in server hardware and maintenance.

"When we began looking for a new operating system one of our primary goals was to get away from an onsite server, and spend more time managing our business. We wanted to go with a solution that was based on the newer technology for future flexibility and get away from the old blue screen." said Brian Leopold, President of Poorman Automotive Warehouse. “We feel MAM has a better solution for this with the redundancy and data protection.”

Managing inventory across multiple locations is a challenge in today's aftermarket. Better inventory visibility means increased profitability. With the comprehensive usage analysis in Autopart, distributors hope to forecast optimum stocking levels to meet customer demands.

"Autopart Online has everything we need to operate our business faster and more economically, and we believe MAM is a good fit for any customization we may need now or in the future," Leopold said.

“We are thrilled to be selected by Poorman Automotive Warehouse as their next technology provider” said Al Neal, Vice President of Sales for MAM Autopart. “They are a strong, well-respected distributor and a member of the Pronto group as well as a long-standing business in their community.  We are proud to add their name to the growing list of distributors that are placing their trust in MAM Software.”
