Aug. 13, 2015
MAM Software customers will now have access to the latest Mopar product information through Autocat+, MAM’s cloud enabled automotive industry catalog.

MAM Software, a leading provider of business management solutions for the automotive aftermarket, is an approved receiver of the Mopar brand’s product catalog.

Customers will now have access to the latest Mopar product information through Autocat+, MAM’s cloud enabled automotive industry catalog. Autocat+ offers the speed-to-market benefits of utilizing the cloud to publish new information and updates that MAM’s catalog delivers.

Autocat+ uses cloud technology and the industry’s ACES and PIES standards to efficiently publish product updates to all levels of the automotive aftermarket distribution chain. MAM can publish supplier updates in as little as a week, making the data immediately available to all customers and eliminating monthly maintenance formerly needed to load new information.

“We are very pleased to be approved by Mopar, and we look forward to offering the brand’s line of products through Autocat+,” said Patrick Maley, President of MAM Software, Inc. “MAM’s ability to process updates efficiently means our mutual customers will benefit not only from both having access to the data, but also knowing that their searches will always include the latest products Mopar has available.”

Mopar (a simple contraction of the words Motor and PARts) was trademarked in 1937 with the launch of an antifreeze product, but it made its mark in the 1960s during the muscle-car era. From Mopar Performance Parts to enhance speed and handling for both road and racing use, the brand soon expanded to include technical service and customer support.

Today, Mopar is Fiat Chrysler Automobile’s service, parts and customer-care brand and distributes more than 500,000 parts and accessories in over 150 markets around the world. With more than 50 parts distribution centers and 27 customer contact hubs globally, Mopar integrates service, parts and customer-care operations in order to enhance dealer and customer support worldwide. Mopar is the source for genuine parts and accessories for FCA brands.
