The Automotive Distribution Network recently celebrated its growth over the last year with more than 1,200 guests at an invitation-only reception at the Venetian in Las Vegas to help kick off the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX).

Co-hosted by more than 200 of the Network’s manufacturer partners, the event enabled the group’s members and headquarters staff to meet with vendors to discuss industry trends and future marketing promotions in a relaxed setting.

“This was the Network’s largest reception ever at AAPEX, and I’m pleased that our gathering has become one of the show’s hottest tickets,” said David Prater, president of the Network. “Communication with our vendor partners is vital as the Network grows the Parts Plus program in the U.S., Mexico and Puerto Rico, along with the Auto Pride brand.”

Representatives from all brands under the Network umbrella were on hand for the reception, including Parts Plus members from Mexico and Puerto Rico that are in the process of rolling out the Car Care Center program in their respective markets.

Earlier in the week, the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) presented its Martin Fromm Lifetime Achievement Award to Mike Lambert, who stepped down after a 20-year term as Network president in October.

Operating under the brands of Parts Plus, Parts Plus Mexico, IAPA and Auto Pride, the Automotive Distribution Network is one of the largest, most diverse program groups in the industry.
