March 14, 2014
NAPA is hosting its first collision conference with leading insurance experts and industry partners, including Martin Senour Paints.
NAPA takes quality, increased productivity and best practices seriously — so much so that the leading collision center chain will hold its first NAPA Collision Conference with leading insurance experts and collision industry partners, including Martin Senour Paints — in Orlando, Fla., April 15-17, 2014 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center.

The conference is available to NAPA and Martin Senour paint customers, including NAPA AutoCare Collision Centers, as well as all collision repair facility owners and managers who are interested in increasing their shops' productivity and profitability.

The purpose of this groundbreaking conference will be multi-fold from a shop management perspective and its attendees will learn: lean services from many of the best consultants in America; strategies for meeting collision industry challenges and opportunities; and learn key performance indicators (KPIs) that will help their business' align and even exceed industry averages.

They will also experience a number of ‘take home’ action steps that can be implemented when they get back to their own shop, including;

  • Provide better leadership in all situations
  • Motivate employees and increase shop productivity
  • Market their business more effectively
  • Increase shop profitability through better financial management
  • Work more effectively with insurance companies and DRPs
  • Effectively utilize all the resources offered by NAPA and Martin Senour Paints

“This conference will help collision repair shop management run their business better in so many ways: how to improve cycle time; how to hire and retain the best technicians and staff; how to develop effective business marketing techniques; and how to increase productivity and profitability in all processes,” says Chris Nichols, NAPA Director of PBE, U.S. Automotive Parts Group.

"This is a can't-miss conference! We have worked to bring together the industry’s top speakers to provide Collision Repairers with information and tools that should result in a significant impact to their business,” commented Brandon Devis, Martin Senour Director of Sales. “Our customers often ask us to bring them the solutions to the problems of the day, but this meeting will provide not only solutions but many of the action steps to implement them. If you are a collision repairer, this is the conference for you! The location, the speakers and the content are outstanding and so will be the takeaway experience."

The program includes a first-rate slate of industry experts and speakers, featuring the keynote address from Scott McKain – bestselling author, hall of fame speaker and internationally recognized authority on Distinction: “What to Do When ‘Great’ isn’t Good Enough to Grow Your Business.” Other industry speakers include:

  • Susanna Gotsch - CCC Information Services
  • Elainna Sachire -Square 1 Systems
  • Marcy Tieger - Symphony Advisers
  • Frank Terlep - Summit Solutions
  • Lee Rush & Dave Dewalt – Lean Consulting Experts

In addition to the multiple education sessions and informative speakers, there will be two complimentary evening receptions for attendees to relax and share “best practices” with their peers from some of the most successful collision repair shops in the country.  The conference will also include a complimentary collision industry trade show with specialists from 3M, Norton and many other great NAPA PBE suppliers and partners.

Finally, not only will the conference content be rewarding, but the venue is something to behold: the sun-drenched and spectacular Gaylord Palms Resort & Conference Center. Just 1.5 miles from Walt Disney World and close to other Orlando theme parks, the facility brings its guests world-class restaurants, entertainment and breathtakingly beautiful Florida gardens under glass.

Conference cost is just $495 and includes the two-night stay at the Gaylord Palms and all meetings and reception events (travel expenses not included). Otherwise, cost is only $95 for those attending confernce and reception, but not booking a room at the venue.
